Wow, talk about turning back the clock. The Patriots played a game reminiscent of one of those close-win games from their 21-game regular season and 24-overall-game win streak. Anyway, this was also a game I TiVO’d and managed to take notes on throughout. So hopefully I can make a quality post tomorrow or wednesday with an edited version.

The Red Sox won the World series. The Patriots are 13-0. The Celtics are 17-2. Someone in Boston has sold their soul to the devil. Was it you, Joe?

i think it’s more of a collective group of recently deceased New England sports fan Elders that are just carrying the spirit of a region.
Like, you ever see that movie? Angels in the outfield?
hehe. fortunately, it’s nowhere near as lame as that.
It is nuts tho, following the sox last lost, the Celtics, Red Sox and Pats have combined for 38-2. Giggidy.
Also, us new englanders aren’t any different in that, we are just as amazed, and about as grateful as you can get. I’m young, hardly lived through some of the heartbreak, but holy crap, i’m holding onto these memories for dear life.
